London-based Kell Mitchell is an award-winning director and photographer whose flair for storytelling has won her an international client list.
After graduating in Sydney, where she scooped a series of awards in contemporary photography, Kell moved to London to conquer the city’s fashion scene.
Honing her craft over many years by assisting some of the world’s most renowned fashion photographers, Kell went on to shoot advertising campaigns for Ralph Lauren, Tommy Hilfiger and Harvey Nichols, for whom she created the viral film The 100 Year Old Model in partnership with Vogue.
Today, Kell predominantly shoots lifestyle stills alongside film campaigns, working with clients ranging from technology and beauty goliaths to leading health brands.
In recent years, Kell has created award-winning digital content for Cannes Lion, and was shortlisted for a British Arrows Award. Her meticulous professionalism has seen her work with global brands like Google, Emirates and Samsung.
Beyond her commercial shoots, Kell channels her passion for working with real people into projects like Channel 4’s film series WTF is Cosplay? Her stripped back approach draws in the viewer, forging a connection to the subject.
