Northern California-born Rennie Solis is a photographer and director who specialising in journalistic lifestyle.
His early childhood was spent in nature, running through local vineyards. Later on, he took to skateboarding and playing the drums in his high school band.
Rennie’s early photos captured the Bay Area music scene, documenting friends’ gigs using a Nikon FM gifted by his uncle.
After relocating to New York, Rennie worked as an assistant to develop his photography skills. At every opportunity, he took Polaroids of friends, bands and parties, producing vivid snapshots of the urban subcultures around him.
